Frequent Questions
In the 'Available Options' section of a product's page, what does 'Encoding' mean?
The encoding option is primarily intended for people who are interested in purchasing a Digital Only version of the album. All of our MP3s are encoded at 320 kbps, but customers can upgrade to lossless files in either ALAC (compatible with iTunes and all of Apple's devices) or FLAC (compatible with everything else) formats if they like.
If you are interested in purchasing a CD or an LP please select MP3 for your encoding option as this will allow you access to an immediate digital download of the album. As you will see below, you don't need to upgrade to a higher quality encoding format, though if you want to throw us an extra $2 for our hardwork we'd appreciate it!
All of our LPs include download codes inside the packaging that grant you access to all of the available digital encoding options.
CDs you can rip yourselves in whatever format you want.
